My painting practice is environmentally based with each series of paintings having a narrative. My base at Duchy Square Art Centre in Princetown, at the heart of Dartmoor National Park, is perfect for my work as it is just above the watershed of the River Erme.
My working career has been across aim higher and widening participation in education. In particular, multi-sensory learning workshops and raising aspirations in learners with specific learning differences.
My aim is to create opportunities for participation and re-engagement with our environment. My belief is that within social, political and ecological change, the artist's imagination can help create new ways of knowing.
